Thailand's chewy tamarind is so yum !

Few months ago i saw a lot of posts in PFD (Peshawar Food Diaries) about imported Chewy Tamarind. It belongs to Thailand and is imported here in Pakistan.I scrolled down after seeing first two posts. When i saw the whole feed was filled with it , I could not control myself to know about this and went through the comments of each posts.People were quite positive about the results and many actually tried out.

The Next day arrived and again the PFD group at Facebook had several new posts about it.Again i read the comments and this time i was tempted to get one for myself. The comments persuaded me  to try this pack of rupees 100 and it was available at different stores.It the pictures showed a good size pack.

 So i decided to get it after my exams. I was unable to get out home in the first ashra so just yesterday i went to get it. My destination was Select (Defence area with Shell petrol station) The moment i saw the pack i was a little bit disappointed because in picture it looks like it is a big pack just like 1kg tomato ketchup's pack. I was wrong it was small and they charged me 120 rupees. I thought maybe because it's Ramadan.

Ok now moving inside and let's talk about the taste.






So from inside it appears something like this.At the pack it showed that it contains 36 pieces. (it's a guess i am not sure because i don't know Thai language and tbh haven't counted the pieces .)
I was very exiceted to taste this.To be honest the first bite wasn't so mouth watering. i thought i wasted my money but when i tasted it after some time later so it got scrumptious
. I don't know how but i loved it later.And yes it is worth it not a wastage of money but the size actually is too small according to my opinion.
